Root
Stone
Feather
& Bone…
…lives where many paths meet—where ritual, ceremony, magick, and shamanic practices have taken root through years of practice and lived experience.
Root, Stone, feather and Bone is not just a name—it has become a way of understanding myself, my practice and the services I offer. Root reminds us where we come from, not only our family stories, but our experiences, relationships and moments that shape us. Roots run deep beneath earth, unseen, yet essential. they ground us, nourish us and connect us to something more than ourselves. Stone teaches us what endures. Weathered by time, the elements, by pressure yet timeless, resilient, and a carrying a wisdom earned through many trials. Stone speaks of strength and the memories of the Earth. Feather moves between worlds, bridging the seen and unseen. it is intuition, dreams, signs, synchronicities and the subtle whispers that ask us to pay attention. feather reminds us that there is often more to this world that what what can be seen with eyes alone. Bone carries the story of ancestors and the timeless dance of life, death and transformation. when everything unnecessary has been stripped away, bone remains. it carries memory, story and wisdom.
Through ritual, ceremony, magick and practices that honour the spirits of the land, each session asks you to step beyond the ordinary and meet yourself more fully in the extraordinary. Walk with me, walk with our kin, let us see a different path before us one with song, with story, with stillness, with dance and connection with fellow beings seen and unseen.
Sessions are guided by experience, insight, and respect for the work.
The road less traveled, how I came to be here…
As a young teen, I began experiencing prophetic dreams—vivid and insistent. The first dreams happened days before July 31st, 1987, known as “Black Friday,” the day an F4 tornado struck Edmonton. Over time, those dreams gave way to more of a knowing—an ability to sense things I didn’t have the language for at the time. I was naturally drawn to tarot cards, various earth-based practices, the strange, the different—because that’s how I felt. I read many books and took many courses that furthered me on my path.
This ‘knowing’ became the foundation of my work as a holistic practitioner, strengthening over two decades, shifting and changing depending on my clients’ needs.
In 2015, I was drawn to shamanic practices and began in-person study with Gizelle Rhyon-Berry. That work marked a shift into deeper personal healing and more intentional practice.
Around that same time, after taking courses on facilitating Sacred Circles, I began gathering women (mostly clients) in what became the Sacred Circle of Divinely Groovy Women—a space to show up as you are, rooted in connection, exploring practices such as witchcraft, drumming, journeying, guided meditation, and seasonal and lunar rituals. While those circles discontinued during the pandemic, I knew I was moving beyond them, as something different was taking shape—shaped by many teachers, many interests, and a need to find what truly resonates with me.
Over the past years, I have continued to deepen my studies and practice in witchcraft, herbcraft, ritual, ancestral medicine, and rootwork.
What I share now is the knowledge I have gained over the years, and the practices I can call my own.
Rather than offering a long menu of individual practices and asking you to determine which one you need, I offer a space in which we can discover that together.
I bring to this work many years of experience alongside a broad body of practices gathered through study and experience: divination, energy work, folk and traditional magical practices, cleansing and protection, ritual, plant allies, dream work, working with natural materials, ancestral connection, healing through story and symbol, seasonal practices, spirit-oriented work and more. But these are tools. They aren't where I begin.
I begin with you.
I listen to what brings you here, to what you are experiencing, and to what begins to emerge through our work together. From there, I draw upon what feels appropriate—with your knowledge and consent. There is no predetermined formula because I don't believe there can be. Every person who walks through my door brings a different story.
What Brings You Here?
Perhaps you feel stuck or blocked, or have had a prolonged sense that something simply isn't right.
You may be experiencing a run of bad luck or circumstances you can't quite make sense of. The same patterns may continue to surface despite your efforts to move beyond them, or you may simply feel that something beneath the surface wants your attention.
Perhaps you are moving through a significant change, an ending or a new beginning, and are looking for a way to understand or mark that transition.
You may want to explore your relationship with your ancestors, your dreams, the natural world or spirit.
You may be seeking a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you, or looking at your life and experiences through a different lens.
Or perhaps nothing is “wrong” at all. You may simply be curious.
Whatever brings you here, you don't need to arrive knowing what kind of practice or approach you need. That's something we can discover together.
You also don't need to identify as a witch or follow a particular spiritual path to work with me. People come through my door carrying many different beliefs, traditions and ways of understanding the world. I don't ask you to leave those at the door, nor do I expect you to adopt mine.
What matters more is an open mind, curiosity and a willingness to try something different.
This is a participatory process. What happens during our time together may give you something to continue exploring afterward—a practice, a ritual, a different perspective, a question, or simply something that needs time to settle and be understood.
My role is to meet you where you are and work from there.
The Process
When you book a session with me, our work begins with a private 30-minute consultation by phone. This consultation is included in the cost of your session and takes place before we meet for our two-hour session.
This is where we begin.
We'll talk about what has brought you to Root, Stone, Feather & Bone, what is happening in your life, and what you hope to explore through our work together. You don't need to know which practice or approach you need—that is part of what we begin to discover together.
Before We Meet
Following our consultation, I take time to sit with what you have shared and prepare for your private session. This may include a preliminary reading or other intuitive work that allows me to explore whether there is something beneath the surface that may be helpful to our work.
This preparation does not predetermine what will happen during your session. It simply gives me another place from which to begin.
Your Two-Hour Session
When we meet for your private session, there is no predetermined formula.
I may draw from divination, energy work, cleansing and protective practices, ritual, plant allies, dream work, natural materials, ancestral or spirit-oriented practices, story and symbol, or other practices I have gathered through years of study and experience.
What we use—and how we use it—will depend upon you and what emerges through the work.
Intuitive impressions may also arise. These can come through as images, sensations, information or, at times, the presence of someone who has passed.
Before we begin, I will ask whether you are comfortable with me sharing these impressions should they occur. They are never forced or guaranteed.
You remain an active participant throughout the process. Nothing is done without your knowledge and consent.
After Our Session
Sometimes our work will feel complete when the session ends.
At other times, something may emerge that you would like to carry forward—a personal practice, ritual, talisman, witch bag or another piece of individually prepared work.
Because some of these require additional preparation, time or materials, they are not automatically included in the session. If something comes up that may be useful, we'll discuss it together and you can decide whether you would like to continue.
Important Information
The work offered through Root, Stone, Feather & Bone is spiritual and complementary in nature and is intended for personal exploration and reflection.
It is not a substitute for medical, psychological or other licensed professional care. I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe treatment or guarantee particular outcomes.
Your participation, personal boundaries and consent remain important throughout our work together. You are always free to decline a practice, suggestion or direction that does not feel appropriate for you.
Your booking includes:
30-minute private phone consultation
Pre-session preparation and preliminary intuitive work
Two-hour private session
Opportunity to join The Hearth — A Gathering Place
Additional individually prepared ritual or magical work requiring further time or materials is not included in the session fee and will always be discussed with you beforehand.
Follow-Up Sessions
Sometimes the work that begins during our initial session asks for more time.
Follow-up sessions are available to those who have already completed a Private Individual Work session with me. They offer an opportunity to return to something that emerged during our work, explore what has changed since we last met, or continue working with something that needs more than one session.
Because we have already completed the initial consultation and groundwork, follow-up sessions do not require further consultation.
As always, the work itself will be guided by what you bring with you and what emerges when we meet.
The Hearth — A Gathering Place
Root, Stone, Feather & Bone is not intended to exist only within the confines of a private session.
At the heart of this work is something I have missed myself—the opportunity to gather with others, to share our experiences, learn from one another and find community with people who are drawn to sharing their personal stories and paths.
Those who work with me will also have the opportunity to become part of The Hearth — A Gathering Place, a private community connected to Root, Stone, Feather & Bone. It is a quieter space where we can continue the conversation, share seasonal practices and reflections, and remain connected beyond our individual work together.
There will also be opportunities to gather in person.
From time to time, I will host private gatherings, seasonal celebrations, workshops and other experiences connected to Root, Stone, Feather & Bone.
Some gatherings may be small and intimate, held indoors or outdoors, while others may take us further afield for a more immersive, retreat-style experience.
I think of it simply as gathering at the hearth.
A place to return to.
A place to share stories and experiences.
A place to learn from one another.
A place where community can grow.
Because some things are meant to be explored alone.
And some things are meant to be discovered while surrounded by others.
